We checked in to this place after reserving on booking.com , family room was not a family room , some things it said on booking.com that comes with the room you didn’t get that at all . Out dated and . Couldn’t use pool, Foxtel had very bad reception , although they did refund us for all our accomodation booked which was 5 nights . If your looking for real budget accom with a great location this is your motel . In comparassion this one is expensive for what you get compared to the other we checked in to .

Stayed for one night (3 adults, 1 child). Great location, reasonable price, very comfortable beds and hot shower. Bit old and shabby but all functional. Whoever stayed in our room last put their used cutlery back in the draw... didn't even bother to lick them off. So that was gross. Lots of other guests chain smoking so windows stayed closed but fan and air con worked.
Would stay again for a cheap short stay.

The rooms had 3 single beds leaving no room for couch or arm chairs, the queen bed in the bedroom was very hard and made for a very uncomfortable night, bed side table was broken, 2 bed side lamps but only power point for 1. The rooms were clean and tidy and quiet (2 floor away from the road). Because we were late returning in the evening there was only 1 car park space left that was too small to get a sedan into so we had to park in front of the reception. We will not be returning in the future.

We stayed at Twin Pines Motel for 5 nights from 22nd to 26th August. I was there for Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast and the motel is very close to the start/finish which was at Esplanade.

The checking process was quick and the staff are super helpful and were amazing throughout our stay ensuring we were taken care of. They even let my wife borrow an umbrella on raceday when it was pouring so that she could come cheer me near the finish.

The room was a no frills setup. Had a functional kitchen and refrigerator and we cooked all meals while we were there. They also have on site laundry room which we used to do some washing. Car park was right in front of our room(which can be accessed from the street behind)

Room tip: Get the rooms on the street behind if you want to park your car right in front of your room

We came up to Moloolaba to dive Ex HMAS Brisbane so only needed an overnight stop. I found this Motel through Trip Advisor (which I use all the time). I looked at all the reviews, some terrible and some VG. I take reviews on balance.

Now this Motel is old and decor outdated, most are, but it was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.

Reception was friendly and helpful and knew we were coming. Booked through Expedia.

It's on a main road so a little noisy from traffic and local restaurant noise but ok by 10ish pm. Had no problem sleeping.

You are only a 1 block walk from the frontage. There's lots of restaurants and cafes near by.

There is a pool onsite which was lovely and clean.

It's a good place to stay for a night or two.
