We booked in for a morning tour with our daughter who is just over 18 months. That plus the fact that we were both inexperienced in kayaking did not affect the amount of fun we had AT ALL! We had Darren as our guide - very informative, very patient, very helpful and very friendly. After about thirty seconds, we felt very, very comfortable and had a blast! Would not only recommend everyone to go for it but would also love to go back as soon as we can! Thank you Lazy Paddles for a wonderful Saturday morning!

Spent a fantastic couple of hours on the water with Darren as my guide. The tour was indeed a 'lazy paddle' which was perfect for this inexperienced kayaker! The Myall lakes area is beautiful and enjoying it from the water with someone who knows the area well provides an entirely different perspective and one that I would highly recommend.

Spent a really lovely 2 hours with Darren as our expert local guide on the water.
Good briefing before hand. The kayaks were sturdy and comfortable.
Really enjoyed the calmness of exploring the river. Cruising through the Mangroves was a delight. The real bonus was seeing dolphins up close and personal. We went with 2 small children who LOVED every minute of.
Can not recommend this trip highly enough.
Thank you!

We booked for our family of 5, children aged 6-14. Darren was a fantastic guide, very patiently taking us in and around the mangroves. For 2 hours we enjoyed a relaxing morning on the calm waters of the river, with beautiful weather. We would highly recommend this activity to other families. When you go along, make sure you wear hats, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirts and enclosed shoes. Each person was provided with a life jacket and Darren ensured the group remained close. We will definitely book to go again. Thanks Darren!

Our family of four had a lot of fun on the water with Darren. The set up was efficient, easy and friendly - we were out and away on the water after safety procedures were followed and some basic paddling tips practised.
The surrounds were gorgeous and Darren had lots of interesting information about the river, the shipwrecks and the birdlife.
As a non-sporty person, I found the paddling quite manageable - though I confess my 10 year old did at least half the work in our double kayak! I had an achey hand and arm afterwards but my predicted sore muscles the next day didn't eventuate.
Two hours with a little snack break was just right for this lazy paddler.
Highly recommended!
