To be honest, the only thing keeping this from being an "excellent" rating is the fact that their free breakfast only includes 'cold' items instead of 'hot' ones as well, such as eggs, bacon, or sausages. A group of friends and I booked a three-guest room in the guesthouse. The beds were comfortable, and both the beds and the bathroom were clean, comfortable, and far better than I had expected. The water pressure and the availability of hot water itself were both impressive.

In the morning during breakfast, a staff member fed the local cockatoos, and it was great (as an American) to see those beautiful, loud, and clever birds up close! Staff was friendly as well, giving us plenty of advice on nearby hikes and accommodating to all our requests and questions. Would definitely recommend this place!

Room Tip: It seems like guests in the guesthouse had a better experience of Clarendon than those in the motel side. So go for that if you can!

Did a family long weekend to Blue Mountains and based ourselves here. Great location to walk to main street, and a short drive to Echo point for walk/hike. Great games room and other facilities to keep kids occupied. Breakfast included is pretty simple but hits the spot (tea/coffee/toast/fruit) - just missing some boiled eggs I think. Staff were friendly. Rooms/beds are a little dated but the good value price reflects this.

Quaint with a lovely young receptionist were the best things. Our room was a good size and the television, hear pump and shower all worked well. Only one smallish towel each, but when asked were given two more. The guest house was a bit dull and dismal and very creaky. Guests returning late at night sounded like a herd of elephants! Our bed was very high - needed to climb up into it and very hard. It was also a double - didn't know they still existed! There was a lot of elbow and knee bashing and nearly falling off the edge.
All in all it was fine for just one night, but wouldn't want to stay longer. Breakfast was toast and cereal- no longer do fresh fruit. Be careful of your car under chassis when you drive out of the car park. The fish n chip shop round the corner looks looks great but the chips were hard and leather I got. My hubby enjoyed his batteredsavs and my fish was fine.

convenient location was the best I can say about clarendon motel.they did include breakfast which was different from other motels.
NO POOL even though it was included in description was very disappointing for all the family. Staff seemed pleasant enough. Room was tidy. But the beds had seen better times along time ago. Facilities adequate.

Very old outdated but very friendly staff. Probably not great value for the money compared to some other places however it was clean and comfortable if you like a hard mattress. Breakfast was very average consisting of toast or plain label cereals
