A short 30 minute boat ride from Helleville. The snorkelling is excellent with many, many fish on the coral easy to spot by just swimming a very short distance from the beach. Some of the coral has been damaged due to the popularity of this spot and my young son was put off by the stinging plankton that are abundant at this time of year. As the tide receded we walked around the entire island in about 45 minutes which was great fun - and entirely deserted. Then it was lunch on the beach and the short walk up to the lighthouse to see the brown lemurs and enjoy the view from the top. After lunch on the beach and a short laze on the beach it was back to Helleville having had a very satisfying trip.
