Lovely setting about five kilometres from the town of Margaret River. Llewellins is in a quiet lane, and our room is just gorgeous. Crisp linen, comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches, like a guest fridge to keep your wine and cheese in! Breakfast was delicious, and great bathroom.

Llewellin's is an amazing place to stay. located just outside the centre of Margaret River and a short drive (or cycle ride if you are fit) to the beach. We were made very welcome by James and Joanna and stayed in the Spa room which was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, luxurious linen and lovely, well equipped bathroom . A kettle, coffee, tea and milk were provided and James' home made muffins were available every day (my preference was the raspberry muffins!). Breakfasts were a work of art, prepared and cooked by James with top quality local ingredients, and absolutely delicious!

Another highlight was the kangaroo which visited at dusk to enjoy the grains from the bird feeders and food from Joanna!

We did a day tour of the wineries with James who is extremely knowledgeable about wines and guided us through tastings at different vineyards and stops for chocolate tasting and a well chosen restaurant for lunch. We finished the day with a platter of delicious cheeses and fruit prepared by James.

Thank you to James and Joanna for making us so welcome and sharing their love of the area with us.

I'd stayed at Llewllin's as a solo traveller in 2010 and returned to show my husband the beauties of the southwest in the Spring of 2017.

When deciding where to stay in the Margaret River region, there was no question but it would be with James and Jo. Their hospitality, and James's marvellous breakfasts, remain top-notch. The recommendations to the more non-mainstream cellar doors were, once again, spot on.

Highly, highly recommended.

Realy enjoyed our stay here. The breakfasts are exceptionally good and muffins are available on top of the fridge to eat at any time. There are 3 rooms, go for the 2 that are refubished. Nothing wrong with the veranda room but the others are a bit special. Shower is very powerful and towels etc are lovely. As already said there is nowhere to sit at night apart from the veranda but it does get chilly at night. Didn't bother us but it may be important to you.The kangaroo visits each night to steal the birdfood and eat bread and this is fantastic. Also the fridge is communal and at the end of the veranda, again this may be important ot you or not...at least the room is not cluttered, but you do have tea and coffe making facilities in the room. You do need a car but tours such as Bushtucker pick up from there.

Had another wonderful stay at Llewellin's Guest house - 3rd visit! It is a beautiful place to stay if visiting the Margaret River Region and the breakfast's are awesome! Our teenage boys came with us this time and stayed in the awesome Air Stream! They loved it! James and Jo always make you feel extremely welcome to their home. Can't wait until next time!
