After a family trip to Vietnam a couple years ago, I often get craving for some fresh Asian food. The Old Quarter, I've discovered, is the best place to satisfy that craving. I'm vegan, so eating out can sometimes be a bit disappointing, with often only one option for me on the menu. At The Old Quarter there are multiple vegan and vegetarian options. They're very tasty, as well as filling.

I'd recommend the $15 lunch menu. 'The Vegan Option' is especially great, and what I like to order. That features fresh summer rolls, yellow curry, rice, and a small pudding dish. The food is all fresh and really delicious so great value for $15.

The staff are friendly, and the interior of the restaurant really does feel like it belongs in Hoi An. The atmosphere is welcoming, making this a great place for all groups; family, friends, an couples would all enjoy this restaurant.

The food at the Old Quarter was fantastic - but so was the noise! Of course it's pre-Christmas. We really want some more of that food, so we'll go back in the New Year and see if it's quieter.

Love Vietnamese food so this place definitely pushed all my buttons. Fantastic menu with lots of choices . The Bao Buns are to die for - we had the pork belly and the soft shell crab. This was our first time but our friends had been before. Also been recommended by lots of others so was good to try for ourselves. Ask the waiting staff for their recommendation - they are really knowledgeable and I always think its good to try something that you haven't before. A definite go back to venue for dinner. Flavours were amazing.

We had 1 hour to get to a show on a Saturday lunch time. We found this hidden gem over the road from the theatre. It was great. We all had $15 lunches, curry's, buns, french baguettes vietnamese style, there were even hot fudge brownies on the platter. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable about the food.

What a great find (thanks to Trip Advisor reviews) for an early birthday dinner.

We shared the mango chicken salad and chicken curry, both enjoying bao of our choice. Everything was so flavoursome, authentic and plentiful.

Service was efficient, prices were superb and for two non-Wellington peeps we are so glad we made the trek by foot from the CBD.
