The crayfish sandwich is just to die for, the Plum smoothie went don a treat. Fun place for families with kids to play and enjoy some time.
We stopped for lunch recently, and had a lovely meal. One of my companions had some unusual dietary restrictions, which she discussed with the staff, and was provided with great alternatives, with no fuss or hassle. The seafood chowder was delicious, as was the Reuben sandwich, and the service was incredibly quick. Definitely on the list for a return visit.
A brilliant cafe, great service and the most delicious uncontrived food. We tried the Scallop and blood sausage burger, an unbelievably delicious combination, a plate of fresh scallops and fish and chips from heaven. Washed down with the most delicious Pinot Gris from Central Otago.
Wish we could have gone back many times over to go through the entire well thought out menu.
Don’t miss it and the beautiful views of Wellington!
We had lunch here on a sunny day. We sat outside - our kids (ages 7,5,1) were kept occupied with the trampoline, kids ride-on toys etc. It's a lovely setting. Quick service/good food - food high quality and tasty, only comment is that portions perhaps a little on the small side (adults had thai fish cakes & green salad with grilled fish, kids had bagel burger), so we had great coffee and brownies to finish.
