We stayed 2 nights at Manuels. When we arrived there was no parking at all but recpetion staff were helpful and offered to make parking available.
We had a problem with the heat pump which was sorted quickly- very helpful and friendly staff.
The pool was beautiful and warm, the food was amazing and the wait staff were exceptional.
The only problem we had (if being picky) was that dishes were left unwashed on the bench after the cleaners had been.
I couldn't find any dishwashing liquid to clean the cups and the only water available was in the bathroom.
So we didn't have coffee in our room the next day.

My wife & I spent a lovely three nights at Millennium. Service was very good, food was excellent. Although it was winter the view out over the lake was great. I felt that in the Spa Grotto there was a need for a small FLAT shelf to put your keys, glasses etc on but the Grotto it's self was great.

Hotel has great position on the lake with rooms looking out over the water. Good breakfast and enjoyed a very good dinner in the posh restaurant the night before. The casual restaurant offers a good range of more simple meals all at reasonable prices.

We spent three days here while on a conference and the stunning lake views, service, food and coffee were perfect. Nothing was too much for the friendly staff, who worked tirelessly in order to accommodate our large group. The reason we did not give a 5/5 was the dark and dated decor, but that's just cosmetic and easily rectified with the help of an interior designer.

Room tip: Sit at the restaurant window overlooking stunning Lake Taupo

The hotel is located right on Lake Taupo. The rooms were clean and the view of lake was great. You can walk on a trail along the lake right next to the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.
