We spent an evening at the Tamaki Maori Village. From the time they picked us up from our accomadation to qhen they dropped us back this was a slick well organised night. It was good to be welcomed into this village to see their day to day lives. The evening entertainment was great and the hangi beautiful. Well worth the visit.

Our family are still talking about such a wonderful night. The welcoming ceremony was very moving. We were entertained with traditional Maori customs in their village, song, dance and a delicious feast. Not only was there great humour but we also felt like we were taken back in time. Dinner was farewelled with moving song from all staff. This was an experience that we will remember for sure.
A massive applause also goes to our very entertaining bus driver Mark, he was very witty, funny and new how to connect with all nationalities. He made the trip very eventful for all ages, my girls are still talking about him and their Maori cultural experience.

I consider myself a tough but fair marker who rarely gives 5 stars.
From the first Kia Ora to the very last thank you for joining us tonight, this activity exceeded our (I went with my wife, son, daughter and her boyfriend) expectations.
I won't spoil any of it for you, so no explanations about the entire experience, but I will say that they take you on a journey of learning and entertainment in a way that is unique to the Maori culture. It is serious and light hearted at the same time, and they make you feel part of their culture.
I special mention must go to the entire staff; they are the heart and sole of the experience.
