We were staying in Auckland for a few days and we came back here for breakfast twice. Quiche was good, pastries were good, latte was good – it’s a great place to stop. Youll find the restaurant from the sign with the French flag along the street. When you step in, theres a little bakery shop out front, but down the stairs you can sit in the dining area and relax. The staff is very friendly. If you’re in the area, its really worth going

Have been to this French paradise already a few months back, to buy some cheese to bring home down the South Island. Went there again yesterday to finally try their food. It was absolutely amazing. I have the Waguy beef - this had to be the best steak I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, the sauce was so tasty and the Brie au Truffes cheese on top OMG.
Service is excellent, the place was pretty full but it did not feel like it, still pretty quiet and waitress/waiter were super helpful, knowledgeable and polite.
Been in New Zealand for two years now, have tried a LOT of restaurants (from budget to very fancy) and this place is my favorite. Value for money is amazing. Will keep recommending to people for sure.
Keep up the good work, and merci beaucoup for the French treats you offer that I miss so much from home. MERCI.

Thank charlotte l

What a fantastic French cafe! Came here for a team lunch and it was a great experience - Get the cheese platter with the Truffle Brie. DELICIOUS!
Had the Wagyu Beef and Venison which were cooked to medium rare greatness. Was so full and happy after this lunch, I will be taking my fancy pretentious friends here too!

Best place to have lunch in Newmarket without a doubt. Casual but good service. Quick to get food off the menu, always delicious. As a bonus you can go upstairs and choose some wine, or get some cheese to take home.
