Owner description: This lovely urban park offers an escape from the city hustle and bustle with oak tree-lined roads, winding paths and grazing sheep and cattle.

Yes, Auckland does have a lot of green space – this is probably the best hill hike near downtown. It’s a nice workout to hike all the way to the top. Theres an active farm on the land, so there are cow and sheep and in the morning, you may find the owner with the dogs herding the sheep. It’s a cool sight to see when youre in the middle of a city. Views at the top are great, worth the walk. You can drive most of the way up, but I would recommend the walk

Cornwall Park is a very big (670 acres, 270 hectares) place in central Auckland and is a popular spot for many. And at the top of the park is the One Tree Hill monument and the tomb of Sir Campbell.
In 1901, Sir Campbell, who was Mayor of Auckland, dedicates his estate to the country and was named Cornwall Park after George Duke of Cornwall (after the successor to the throne).
In the morning, many locals jog or take a walk out of the park.
I think that it is also the happiness of travelers to think about walking through the clean air and the beautiful park. Many people are looking for marriage photography, and on weekends and holidays, many locals are naked and enjoy picnics and barbecues.
The summit at One Tree Hill is 182m above sea level and is a crater of volcanic activity like Mt.Eden. It is also called Maungakiki in Maori, where they are sacred. At the summit, there is a high tower to commemorate Maori and a tomb commemorating Campbell's Duke.
I can feel that this place where I am standing is a healing place, watching the Auckland city, the sea, and the blue sky and the accessible clouds, which is a 360 degree view.

A jewel in Auckland's crown. 670 acres of immaculately groomed farmland with gorgeous walks, a couple of lovely cafes, and the ability to view cattle and sheep (with their new-born offspring in the spring). Oak Tree Drive is ablaze with daffodils and jonquils in the spring and there is also a grove of trees with spring flowers blooming simultaneously. But any time of year this is a glorious place to wander through and take in nature's glory Fabulous for everyone..
