We spent much longer there than we anticipated and came away better informed particularly about blackbirding, the risks even today of diving for pearls and the WW2 bombings. The collections are informative, at times quaint and quirky, and this museum is a useful stop for new arrivals. On our travels, we met others who spoke enthusiastically about their visit. Thanks to the friendly volunteers who keep this going.
