We soent a wonderful afternoon wandering the mudflats with Bart. He showed us a number of the local flora and fauna, explaining the cultural significance of each. He was also very knowledgeable tegarding the history of Broome as well as the indigenous history. We caught mudcrabs ( which we released) and ate oysters from the rocks, saw dinosaur footprints and sampled the fruit of the min min. Iwoukd grade this as a “must do” when visiting Broome.

A couple of hours spent with Narlijia Cultural Tours will transport you into a world rich with indigenous story telling of culture and country.

Bart's tours will take you to breathtaking landscapes (worlds away from the cities most of us know) and introduce you to a place rich with history, telling dream time stories which explain how these places came to be.

We took our city kids here to give them a sense of Australian history and we were astounded just how much they learned and enjoyed the adventure.

Thank you Bart for sharing your knowledge with us! We just loved it!

I would definitely recommend Bart's tour of Broome. His insights, experience and knowledge of the history and culture of Broome are things you could only learn from locals themselves.

Bart is truly knowledgeable and funny! We did the 3 hour Bush to Bay Tour. It was an amazing experience. Bart is so passionate about the land and history and the tour is fascinating - “true for you”. So much history in Broome. The dinosaur footprints are a highlight.

It was great to hear about Broome landmark's and the cultural connections and significance of them all to all of the local indigenous groups. Bart gives a excellent tour that really highlights the beauty of the town and its area and its history. You can tell he is very passionate about the town and his connections to it. Would definitely recommend any visitor to Broome to do a Narlijia Tour.
