Dispite having issues with locating this cafe (google maps problem), this cafe was worth the 15min walk. Excellant and tasty food and coffee. We ordered the Chilli scrabled eggs and the poriddge. Both meals were great and te service even though busy was efficient. Will be back.

So the menu is strange but totally delicious! If you want a tasty substantial breakfast that’s quirky with great coffee go here. The pulled pork kimchee Edda benedict was divine! If I was a local I’d be back every week

I went here because of its #1 rating for cafes in Melbourne’s CBD and was not disappointed. The decor is minimalist but there is plenty of seating. I order the Ube Waffle which is a purple sweet potato waffle so it is not super sweet. It was covered with a variety of fresh fruits and black sesame ice cream. Ice cream is not what I usually eat for breakfast but again it was not sweet-just cold and creamy. Fabulous dish, and everything else I saw people eating looked good too.
A minor gripe is the powdered chai latte rather than spices steeping in hot milk. Still, I am glad I tried the waffle!!
