As the title says. It’s a good value hotel two blocks from the esplanade. Even though it’s quite central it’s still a quiet location at night. For the price it’s very good value in a good location close to the esplanade, city centre and airport. It’s perfect to base yourself here while exploring Cairns and FNQ, but it’s not a 5star luxury hotel to laze about at.

The motel was centrally located and within walking distance from town.

We spent 4 nights and the staff were always friendly and helpful. As we did 2 multi-night tours while we were there they stored our luggage for us as well.

The rooms were very clean, and the showers were really hot.

The Tropical Heritage Cairns is a great little place on a quiet street close to the centre of town. In about 3 Min. you can get to the new Aquarium and in about 5 to most of the shops and restaurants.
The rooms are clean and large enough. Baths are clean.
The breakfast is a bit meagre - it is a "serve yourself" deal with some cereals and toast and juice/coffee/teabags. Staff is very helpful and nice.

This was our first hotel we checked into once landed in Australia. It is within walking distance of the town centre and the marina, staff were friendly and helpful, very basic but done exactly what we needed, we had the continental breakfast in the mornings, very minimal. Parking at the front or rear of the property and WiFi was very responsive. Nothing wrong with this hotel, lower rating due to paying less for nicer rooms and better breakfasts.
