I spent a few days in Cairns back in September 2015. This was my last stop in Australia before heading to New Zealand for a few weeks. I stumbled upon the Queens Court hotel as I booked only a few days before I arrived and most of the other hotels were sold out. I am very glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. While I was there Ferne (hotel director and owner) did her best to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. She helped make reservations for excursions and called a bunch of tours to get me on the best possible scuba diving trip. I found myself down there a bunch just to talk to them at the desk! The breakfast in the morning helped save on food costs and I left very each morning to explore Cairns.
The rooms were nice and I slept comfortably. Just remember to close the door when showering to keep the steam in! The location was reasonable as it was only 10-12 minutes to walk down to the Esplanade and waterfront. There is a pool on site if you need to relax after a day of exploration.
I would definitely stay here again if I return to Cairns. Great value for your money and I can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality and assistance.More
