Have visited Parliament house NT a few times and always find a very nice experience.
Beautiful light airy modern building, very high ceilings and open spaces.
Great library area to sit and research
Great tourist shop with lovely staff member
You can wander around yourself but they also have guided tours available which are free
Be sure to visit the cafe and sit outside in the lovely outdoor area.

It was a good way to hear about self government and yet decisions can be overturned by Federal government. Immaculate fittings inside, interesting to hear about where the bomb hit, and other interesting historic information. Worth a visit, free to get in, recommend a guided tour.

Just for interest, check out the building. It is very nice and has a small bit of history. There is a nice cafe inside. I just happened to stumble on Bring Your Dog to Work Day on the Terrace. It was cute!

Organised tours operate once a week, I think Saturdays. We went thru on our own and enjoyed the visit. There is also a library within the complex open to the public.

This tour was excellent by a committed and friendly guide. He explained all the important aspects about the House and engaged us in a relaxed and professional way. This is a beautiful building that uses natural light so effectively. The design of the building and the natural products used in it are a delight. Well worth a visit. We visited on a Saturday morning and there were at least three well-patronised tours in operation at the same time.
