This is a lovely wildlife park in the centre of Sydney. It was easy to see the animals and a lot of them were out and moving about when we were there. The animal talks were good and we got to touch a snake and lizard. The crocodile enclosure was amazing, i have never been that close to a croc and you can see how big it really is. The admission price is a bit but i imagine it takes a bit of money to keep the place going. Overall i really enjoyed and would recommend.

Hey thoseby,

Thank you for visiting Wildlife Zoo Sydney.

Fantastic to hear that you had an awesome time during your visit. We are also glad to hear that you enjoyed the Animal Talks from our dedicated Keepers and that you got to touch some of Australia's amazing reptiles.
Also, being able to come eye to eye with a Salt Water Crocodile in the middle of Darling Harbour, Sydney is an incredible experience and is by far a WOW! moment.

Once again thank you for coming and saying hi to all the animals and we hope to see you again in the future.

Kind regards,

Bede

The zoo is quite cute and you see many of the animals close up. It's on the smaller side, which you can expect for being in a city.

At 3pm there is a kangaroo walk where they let the kangaroos mingle with you (These kangaroos are small). You can have your photo taken with a Koala - you can't touch them, but it will be the closest you ever get within centimeters.

TIP: Order the tickets online and have them delivered to your mobile. There is a separate line for mobile ticket holders and it is MUCH shorter than the other lines.

Also, there is a discount if you combine two or more attractions. The entrance to the Zoo, Aquarium, and Madame Tussaud's are the SAME entrance. The downside is that you need to exit, and re-enter each time - but again, the mobile line is almost non-existent.

Hey khoward67,

Thank you for visiting us here at Wildlife Sydney Zoo and leaving us some feedback on your visit.
We are located in the middle of Darling Harbour meaning that the size of our zoo is slightly smaller than others you may have visited. But in saying that, we offer our guests the experience to get up close and personal and even eye to eye with some amazing Australian animals including the Big 5 (Wombat, Kangaroo, Platypus, Koala and Salt Crocodile).

You are also correct in saying that ordering your tickets online means that you are able to skip the queue and head straight into the attraction. Also purchasing a multi-ticket allows you to see the 3 attraction that are next door to one another (Madame Tussauds, Wildlife Zoo and Sealife Aquarium).

Once again thank you for providing feedback of your visit and we hope to see you again in the future.

Kind regards,

Bede

The prices are all very reasonable for this attraction. We were given the opportunity to pat the kangaroos and take photos with the koalas via the koala encounter. The lady at the koala encounter was very patient and helpful and took many photos for us and we got free prints too. A true Aussie experience and a great tour of all the awesome Aussie creatures.

Thank Radhdi

There are two zoos in Sydney, the large Taronga Zoo and the smaller Wildlife Sydney Zoo located at the end of Darling Harbour. It was a bit expensive but there are many package deals available. Australia has many animals found nowhere else in the world. Tasmanian Devils, Cassowaries, Wallabies, Ghost Bats, Platypus, Bilbies, Sugar Gliders and a darling Wombat were easily viewed. The knowledgeable zookeepers give periodic informative talks when you are sure to see these amazing animals. The zoo was well kept, clean, and the animals well loved. It is against the law now to hold a Koala, but I was able to get right up close to several without paying the extra $20 fee ($5 for each additional person). Wait until you get to the Koala enclosure on the rooftop before deciding to pay to enter the enclosure as I got my best photos during the wildlife talk. If you decide to pay the extra fee you can enter the female Koala enclosure and the zookeeper will take a series of digital photos. You can select and print two to take home. This is a more manageable zoo in terms of distance especially if you have young children who may not be able to walk long distances.

Hey Kathleen H,

Cheers for taking the time to leave feedback on your visit to Wildlife Sydney Zoo.
You are correct in saying that a lot of Australia's Animals and Reptiles are only found in Australia. Fun Fact, 90% of Australia's reptiles are only found in Australia.
Glad to also hear that you enjoyed the talks from the awesome Keepers. They sure do love their jobs but most of all they love the animals here at Wildlife.
You are also correct in saying that by purchasing multi tickets you save money and having 3 attractions (Madame Tussauds Sydney, Sealife Aquarium and Wildlife Zoo) right next door to each other, makes for an easy day out with the family in Darling Harbour.
So once again thank you for visiting us here at Wildlife Sydney and we hope to see you again in the future.

Kind regards,
Bede
