Whilst not the most beautiful looking hotel from the outside this property is the epitome of the phrase "you can't tell a book by its cover".

Upon entering the hotel you are treated to the most outstanding level of service.

The reception staff are there to pamper to your needs without being obtrusive. They establish an understanding of the guest need and ensure those criteria are met, plus some.

My room was a one bedroom Queen suite that was quite spacious. Unfortunately the bathroom was too small and quite claustrophobic. The shower door could not be operated without the bathroom door being closed and entry to the shower was so narrow I had to turn side on to enter.

The housekeeping staff on cleaning my room the first morning left it as though I was checking in for my first night. Nothing was out of place and everything had been replenished, including items I would normally expect to be left.

On entering and leaving the hotel not once was I not acknowledged by one or more of the staff.

My stay also involved a function event held in the hotel. The only way I could describe the banquet staff is excellent and beyond reproach. Aside of placing plates on the table in front of me I never knew they were there. However wine was always available on the table, water jugs were refilled and empty glasses were replaced. The food quality was excellent and presented beautifully. From what I could gather at no stage was there a delay in the food being served on time.

Breakfast, whilst not having the extent and range you may find in luxury hotels, had a variety of foods that would satisfy the majority of tastes. Once again the staff were attentive and inconspicuous.

On check out there was no delay at the front desk. The staff were attentive and thorough to the detail of the stay.

Lovely and affordable place great staff, let me have a late check out last minute great location even though the room was cold the heater warmed room up fast the view was from the 9th floor was okay but better up higher I bet still very happy

Thank you for your lovely feedback. It is especially pleasing to hear that our Staff could make your experience even better. Sydney, although not usually cold, has been in a chilly spell recently and its great the heater could make you nice and toasty within seconds.

Sydney has some spectacular views and while you didn’t get to experience them on this stay, perhaps when you stay with us again next time we can place you on a higher level so you can enjoy them to the full extent.

We used to bounce from one hotel to the next when we visited Sydney. Some were poor and others while they were quite satisfactory did not stop us from trying other hotels at our next visit, until we stayed at the Cambridge. Now we don't stay anywhere else when we visit Sydney because this hotel provides everything we want. Great service, great location, great facilities.

This was our last hotel for our honeymoon, and it left us with good memories. Location was a little walk from CBD, but there's an abundance of reasonable eating places around the area. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Our rooms were very clean.

The hotel is in a good location and accessible to almost every shops. We did have some issue on the online reservations but hotel staff was prompt and very professional about it. Though it was a short stay the rooms has this homey feel to it, which I really love. Great job guys, keep it up!
