Nice hotel, not many facilities on site, rooms are not overly quiet with people next door and upstairs. Good area but no food onsite, good sized room & lovely bed, good facilities in the room. Parking looked minimal but good space out the back.

Superior room was lovely and very well presented. A good deal was had with the inclusion of Cartier exhibition tickets in the package. The pre-prepared little meals were appreciated as we had had a long drive and didn't want to go out searching for a restaurant.
My only real criticism was about the breakfast arrangement. We didn't know, and weren't told, that there was no dining room in the hotel and that we would have to go to either the Burbury Hotel or Realm hotel for breakfast. Could you please ensure that staff tell guests on arrival what these arrangements are. Having said this, breakfast was delicious at both venues especially the Burbury where the views of the early morning from the seventh floor were superb.

Room Tip: The hot water in shower was very slow to come through.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Brassey Hotel.
Almost like a ski chalet in the middle of Canberra.
Warm and cosy but we walked to Happy Hour and dinner.
A lot of must sees were also easy to get to on foot.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Standard room felt quite luxurious, especially for the price

i Enjoy my stay in Canberra at the Brassey
The room was spacious and staff was very helpful
The hotel has a older feel but full of modern conveniences
Only fault was small noise from the central heating which would come and go
Look forward to my next trip

We stayed at the Brassey for 1 night and I'm so glad that we only stayed for 1 night.
They gave us a room on the 3rd floor (no lift) when I was travelling with a clearly disabled elderly family member and an 11 year old child. The family member had a walking stick. No help was offered with our bags either.
We had ordered a family suite room... but we couldn't open the door to the second room. I assumed that it was locked - the next morning we discovered it was in fact just jammed.
There are no restaurants in the actual hotel either.
The facade is very beautiful but the rooms do not follow with the outer charm. The room was a mismatch of old and new with no real understanding of style.
Will not recommend.

Room Tip: The room was also dusty on top of the shelves.
