We have stayed in this hotel for four nights. The location of the hotel is very good. You can drive to Chios Town Center in 5-10 minutes. The owner of the hotel, named Markella is really friendly. She can help you all about Chios. The rooms have sea view and balcony.

We stayed in this hotel for the rocket wars, which is early april so the hotel was worn out with all the effects of winter. It is an old hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Location is good with easy access to parking space. In the summer time the beach should be OK but beware it is across the main road and it is not sand but gravel.

We only stayed in this hotel for one night and arrived quite late so we were just grateful for a bed. The woman on reception was friendly and showed us to our room which was on the first floor. Upon opening the door i felt like we had stepped back in time, as it looked like it hadn't been updated since the 60's. Of course this is reflected in the price but i'm sure they would get more customers if they redecorated and just upped their room rates slightly. The beds were quite hard and the electrical appliances left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was adequate with bread, jams, eggs, tea and coffee etc but i'm afraid i wouldn't stay here again. There was also a strange humming noise that was constant all night in our room which was a little wierd and being in such a rural setting with wooden balcony doors that just operated on a latch basis i couldn't relax properly.

It is a pitty that such a beautiful island as Chios, with so much to offer, has so few hotels which could serve a more demanding tourist population. This particular hotel lies in Vrontados, the lovely northern suburb of Chios town. I booked a room here for my future wife in August 2010 - she stayed for one night as I was preparing the house I own here to accomodate her for the next few days. The room was OK for a night, nothing special at all. And it is a shame, because the area is really worth spending some days in and other hotels are almost non-existent.
