“Very clean and well maintaine cottage. All you need for a great weekend”
Reviewed 27 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The cottage is lovely! Very clean with all appliances and utilities in excellent working condition. The view from the cottage is very nice just wished it was right on the water. I think is a great value for your money. We very much appreciate all the useful information it was left for us. We did some hikes recommended in the binder and we weren't disappointed. It was also great we were able to bring our dogs with us as this cottage is pets friendly. I will be back for sure!

“Fantastic week on the lake”

My wife and I rented this cottage for a week in August. The cottage is really nice with a spacious living room, kitchen and deck. The bedrooms were not large but they were clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 5. The property is nice and private with lots of trees. We spent lots of time swimming. I found it very relaxing. My wife found the kitchen was very well equipped. What I liked about the location was we could walk to two different restaurants to eat out. We don't like cooking every night. We were within easy access to several towns as well. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. It is very good value for money. Lori, the owner was easy to deal with and helpful with local knowledge. We had a nice relaxing vacation and hope to go back next year.

“Not the best experience”

The cottge is ok, but there are a lot of bugs. I expect that but i didn't expect wasps. My friends and I were really scared. There is no hot water for us to shower at the first night. we contact the ower and he is willing to help. however, the reception is bad there so can't really communicate with him that well.

Management Response
8 Oct 2014
Thank you for providing us with valuable feedback. We are sorry that your stay at the cottage was not all that you hoped for. Unfortunately insects such as wasps and others can be bothersome at certain times of year despite our best efforts to keep them away. In regards to the shower, the cottage has hot water in all areas but it is not unlimited. The water tank is smaller and may require a little time to heat up when under heavy usage. This is not unusual in cottage country. There is decent cell phone service at the cottage with any of the major phone providers however most discount cell services do not have coverage in the north or away from populated areas. Thank you for the opportunity to adress your concerns.
