We stayed at this gite for two nights on the way back from Provence. We found the gite wonderfully light and airy, immaculately clean and equipped with everything one could ever need on holiday (down to board games and playing cards!). The bed mattresses were some of the best we'd ever slept on! The hosts were charming and full of helpful advice as to where to go, local amenities such as supermarkets, petrol stations, and even gave us a cutting from one of the plants growing in their beautiful garden. The internet worked without a hitch and the swimming pool looked idyllic (if only it had been warm enough to spend some time in it!). Lovely peaceful village which our satnav found and directed us to very easily.
Thank you so much for the jam, Marie-Helene - it was delicious! And thank you Thierry for your advice on the route back to Calais to catch our afternoon train - your timings were perfect and we arrived well ahead of schedule. All in all, highly recommended gite, close enough to Dijon (40 mins drive) to make this a lovely day trip (we were able to park right in the centre of Dijon for 4 hours for the equivalent of about £3!).
