Daleside is a fantastic homely cottage, superbly equipped with views to die for. Lovely walking down by the river and an easy walk into Bakewell. Would not hesitate to stay again.

“Peaceful Haven”
Reviewed 5 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

If it's peace and tranquility in a tasteful clean environment, this is the place for you. Beautiful lounge and well equipped kitchen with spacious upstairs (shower is good). Views to die for and a great pub at the end of the road. All in all a delightful excperience. Good food at the Lathkil and friendly locals, but for a superb traditional Sunday Lunch, the Farmyard Inn at Youlgreave is a must!
Thankful Christine for your thoughtful touches, much appreciated.

“Fabulous comfortable cottage destination”
Reviewed 23 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We had a fabulous week's stay in this very comfortable cottage. Brilliantly located for us to just park up the car for the week and walk the roads and trails to the various villages nearby, a great part of the country to visit!
Our stay was made even more special by the care and attention from the owner, Christine - biscuit treats on arrival for us and our dog, and a great bottle of Prosecco quickly located in the fridge! Very much appreciated and enjoyed on the sunny garden terrace! :o)
We'd definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone considering it, a great place to base yourself to explore the area (and the many beers available at the excellent village pub nearby!!)

“What a stunner”
Reviewed 14 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

What a stunner of a place! The small touches have made it; the Prosecco went down a treat! The views from the terrace are stunning and we are planning our next visit. There is a very calming feel to the cottage, it's a little pocket of heaven. Mr and Mrs Howells (newly weds) and parents Mr and Mrs Shobbrook (oldyweds) Plus Teddy our pooch.
