Pleasant stay and experience. The water in the pool was way too cold to use which was a share. The breakfast options were okay. Expected atleast a bottle of complimentary water but everything was billable. The floors were super loud and creaky as expected from an older house.
We loved the „grand hotel heftige style“. Our room had an amazing, spacious balcony with incredible view of table mountain and lots of afternoon/evening sun.
We booked our last night there to be close to the airport in the morning. It took about 10
Min to the airport - very convenient. Secure parking. We did not habe breakfast due to an early flight but enjoyed the tea, fresh milk and rusks provided in the room
This was my first time staying at the Banksia Boutique Hotel, and I will definitely be staying here as a first choice in the future. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the decor and feel of the hotel make it a real home away from home. The staff are attentive to your individual needs and will seek to cater to them as far as possible, as was the case when I couldn't make breakfast on one of the morning due to early meetings but had packed breakfast waiting for me in line with my dietary preferences. Food is meticulously prepared and very tasty. I must thank Riz and her team for their efforts, their friendliness and for making my stay an exceptional one.
As soon as we pulled up to the gates I knew this hotel was going to be special.
The exterior is gorgeous. It has a garden area and parking for guests.
The pool area is simply stunning. The water was too cold for us to use but I'd imagine in summer the pool will be a highlight of the hotel.
We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool area. It had tv with satellite channels, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and minibar. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious with his & her basins, a large bath tub and separate shower room.
The staff were really nice and very helpful.
The breakfast was also very nice and plentiful.
This hotel has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere and I would highly recommend it.
My friends and I stayed at the Banksia for two nights after a busy, experience filled fortnight of sightseeing in SA. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind before our flight back to the UK.
The Banksia Boutique is the essence of the term relaxation. The staff are friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The beds comfortable, the rooms clean and well stocked. Pure luxury for a humble traveller like myself.
