A restaurant called Paradise in a town of the same name had better be good to merit a detour. This place does. The well-spaced tables, flowers, beautiful place settings, and glasses of prosecco brought without request start the evening joyfully. Annamaria and Gianni Cosetti--you soon get to know them--are passionate about providing an enduring culinary experience. The kitchen produces refinements in Friulano dining with an emphasis on risotto and fresh fish. Dinner begins with prosecco and amuse-gueule, ending 2-3 hour later with a chocolate-raspberry lollypop and local spirits. (The only negative was that this reviewer planned to pay by credit card but the connection wasn't functioning. Our guests and we all chipped in.)
