Nomads hostel is the best if you are travelling solo or with a group of friends though they also have rooms besides dorms. Our host was a super cool lady. The food is awesome. You will love the concept of self service regarding food as well.View from the roof or 1st floor balcony is awesome. They have a common area too with a tv.We loved their hospitality.

A great destination- where the way to the hostel is kind of a mini trek- far away from the main kasol market where one can sleep to the rhythm of the flowing river. A quiet place that can come alive with the harmonious chaos of the other backpackers! a must stay when in kasol

Room Tip: it is off the main location but only 3 kms from Manikaran

You will require a 400m trek which goes through a bridge and a narrow trail.
Beds are very comfortable.
You will get a scenic view from hostel's window and common room.
The only problem is that whole hostel has only one bathroom, so one might face some issues, however, it was well maintained and clean.

Beware of DOGS nearby!!

Room Tip: Best view and Adventurous

find the nomad in you...i am very happy to have stayed here the very first day on my first and overdue visit to kasol.....i made a prior booking here and after reaching kasol realized that it was a little walk away from city centre...akash the owner manager had already told me not to carry much luggage as its a more of backpackers place....its situated in an area called choj further to kasol on manikaran road. it can be seen as a yellow building from main road and one can reach here after crossing a walk bridge over river parvati. after reaching nomads i happened to make many friends as the place was buzzing and gave good vibes to every new visitor...akash himself is a terrific host and is very informal in his behaviour which made me feel home immediately. ..frankly i stayed here only one night as i had further plans to visit tosh, kheerganga and kalga etc but after visiting those spots when i came back to kasol i again thought of staying in nomads...see there are other places to stay and other hostel as well in kasol but none have the same air of informality and friendliness this place has...i was missing nomad while staying at other place in kasol after coming back from treks and despite of not having another booking here i just visited the place to say hello to akash and meet more new people here....after all i had made some new friends here and happened to travel further with them...if you are travelling alone then this is the best place to get company

Room Tip: there are 2 big dorms on ground floor and one 4 bed dorm on 1st floor..if you dont want to que up for bathroom better to stay in upper dorm.

This place is not for the comfy traveller.
More so for the backpacker in you.
Warm people, spl mention for Akash who's running this place. The feel is homely with so.many new people to meet and chat up with over a cup of coffee or a smoke.
The food is homely and simple and sumptuous.
All in all
Soul searching.
