We live just up the road from here and have enjoyed endless walks along the canal. Its a beautiful, tranquil place and will be sadly missed when we move! I find everyone I meet on our walks very friendly. We have seen kingfishers and lots of baby birds (ducklings, goslings, signets, baby coots etc) There is a cafe and canal centre, where there are things to buy (postcards, ice cream etc) you can get info here and they often do events here- very friendly staff. A little playground, boat hire and trips, free parking.Toilets too.

My family had a lovely cruise on the canal on the Rosebud boat. This is a really cute little boat (complete with bunting!) that seats up to 12 people and is staffed by two volunteers who give you lots of information about the history and surrounding area and point out all the wildlife! The canal is really beautiful, we were particularly lucky with the weather on our visit. The volunteers were both so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The trip lasts about an hour and is excellent value for money. There is also a visitor centre and café on site so there's plenty to do. Would highly recommend a trip on the Rosebud - but the area is also great for walking/running/cycling and you can also hire row boats, kayaks and pedalos if you fancy exploring the canal for yourself.

We walked down to Frimley Park from here. To start we had breakfast in the cafe. Hot fresh and DELICIOUS. Walked down the Canal soo much to see, got to Frimley Park Miniture Railway and then walked back for a drink and Cake. Lovely relaxing. Suitable for all ages.
