We were booked into this condo for 7 nights but stayed only 2. We were unprepared for just how cold it was in Ajijic so we moved to somewhere warmer. The condo itself was OK - nothing special. Had a good kitchen, good master bedroom, small living/dining room and totally wasted space classified as an "office". Could have made an extra bedroom. No maid service - part of why it is so cheap. No heat (understandably) but that meant the tile floors were freezing cold, especially in the morning. No patio or anywhere to sit outside, and no pool. The place was OK but the weather and town not what we had hoped for. We should have done more research. Ajijic itself was basically a gringo enclave, not too much Mexican about it - we had to instruct one bartender how to make a margarita and another didn't know or care - kind of turned us off. We have travelled a lot in Mexico and outside "all-inclusive" resorts, this is the "least" Mexican" place we have been. We're not likely to return.
The cab driver had quite a time finding this property-but once there, I was happy with my casita and the gounds. Just know that the streets out front are cobblestone-the stores are a few blocks away. There are two very nice restaurants within walking distance but you will need to cab or bus to the village of Aijiic.
Nice, clean, modern, friendly, convenient, -very good host! Location could be more close to the center to Ajijic!! Took a bus everyday!!! BUT- we had from the host-VINE and SUN!!!!!
