We have eaten previously at The Lamb, but not for at least a year or so. We have always found the food to be excellent, but have have had one or two issues with slow service. No such problems this time. We had soup and pate starters between us followed by game pie and a venison burger. All the food was lovely with prompt, friendly service. We won’t be leaving it so long till we return!

Thank Lawrence M

We have eaten at the Lamb Inn several times over the years and have always had great meals with good service.
Last night, Saturday 31st March, we went again and the meals were absolutely fanastic. Two of us had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach and garlic, one person had the steak burger and one person had the game pie.
The quality of the food is exceptional and the chef deserves a Michelin star. It's obvious that he/she has a passion for food.
The desserts were wonderful too.
Everything was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were obviously of the highest quality
Our guys are real ale drinkers and there are some very good ales on the bar.
All the staff are really nice and do a great job.
We're all looking forwards to our next visit which we hope won't be too long.

We stayed in Harrington and went for nice drive . Drove past Buxton and went to chinley.
Lovely old style pub and lovely meal.
We had lamb and steak.
Quite a few people for lunch.

We have been here numerous times and had beautiful meals. However, on this occasion we were very disappointed. The meal was not up to usual standard and the vegetables were very poor. The sweets however were delicious. Hopefully the vegetables will be more interesting when we visit in the future.Maybe it was the chef's day off!

Visited today for a meal with my family for Mother’s Day. We booked ahead and requested a quiet corner and were seated in a cosy snook of the restaurant. Service and food was very good. I’ve eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend.

Thank Debbie H
