“Comfortable friendly and a bit of luxury.”
Reviewed 24 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed here for a week and wish it could have been longer. Rebecca had the cabin spotless and welcoming with a delicious cake, fresh flowers, some wine and eggs from her hens. The cabins are well and sensibly designed to make living easy and comfortable, with everything you could possibly want. The bathroom is an amazing surprise - wish I had one like it at home!
The location is good and not far from the excellent mini market. I would recommend a stay here as you will be comfortable and warm whatever the weather.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 5 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

This is a fantastic place to stay. We had such a lovely welcome with home made cake , wine and flowers on arrival. The cabin is a home from home, very comfortable with all the home comforts in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. There is a hotel and restaurant on your door step, and the views from the cabin are just lush, hills and the sound of birds and lambs. Well worth the money, we would definitely stay here again.......and will be booking again for next year. We used this as a base, and travelled from here to all the islands....what a beautiful part of the country, an another world. Thanks to Rebecca and Steve for a wonderful stay.... “A slice of heaven exists, on Harris!”
Reviewed 29 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Where to begin?! My partner and I have a view never to visit the same place twice, to keep exploring...we are already saving to come back here. We stayed in cabin One and it far exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate when we arrived, like new. A gorgeous kitchen that looks out onto wee lambs and chickens, a to-die-for bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and sauna (that was such a treat to come back to after a day of walking) and such a lovely bedroom it could have been a boutique hotel. The cabin is in a great location for exploring Harris, to one side glorious deserted beaches, to the other, almost lunar landscape and spectacular sea views. Within walking distance of st. clements church. We were made to feel so welcome, our arrangements to have our African Grey Parrot looked after while we were away fell through, the Passmores said he would be welcome! He loved it as much as we did.
The cabin is decked out with everything you could need (and some things you need, but will not have thought to bring) and has plenty of leaflets and guides about where to go, where to eat and what to do (but if you just feel like chilling out in the cabin- it is set for that too!). Go to the Rodel hotel for catch of the day and chips, so good, we went twice!
Very much looking forward to going back, perhaps I should not be so keen to recommend it, then everybody will know!

“Friendly and welcoming owners and a quiet, relaxing base for exploring Harris.”
Reviewed 28 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We spent a week here and wish it could have been longer. On arrival we were welcomed by Rebecca and shown around. She had left us a bottle of wine, eggs from her hens, fresh flowers and home baking. The shortbread was delicious.
The cabin was warm and cosy and we had no need for the log burning stove. It was beautifully clean and tidy and well fitted out. Little extras like Wi Fi, DVD's, binoculars, maps and menus for local hotels were all appreciated.
The cabin is situated in a lovely sheltered position and the back garden is a sun spot.
The bathroom was fabulous and was a great place to unwind after long days exploring a stunning island.
It was such a treat to find a great cabin which was also dog friendly.

“Fantastic Lodge”
Reviewed 8 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We stayed for a week in April. Everything about the lodge had been well thought through and the facilities were excellent. Nice outside area with BBQ on hand. Sauna for me, Jacuzzi bath for my wife. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, Sky TV and cinema system in the sitting room. The bed was really comfortable. What was impressive was the wi-fi speed. With no mobile signal we were relying on Skype to keep in contact with people and it was very good.

Becci & Stephen couldn't have been more helpful and we had a great week even though the weather was as un-predicatble as usual.

Saw 4 Golden Eagles (Northton, Coffin Path, Eagle Observatory) and a Sea Eagle (Luskentyre Beach) in the first 4 days so it can't be all bad

Went to Rodel hotel but weren't very impressed and the same goes for Hebrides Art.
