One of the hundreds of churches in and around Malta as all ways beautiful inside and out, the Maltese people are very proud of their churches.

A must to see as it is very beautiful. The air raid shelter is below it. From mellitus bay looking up at it was awesome.

Very tranquil place commanding the local area. Lovely setting in heart of the village although access via narrow local streets is not for the faint hearted!

We stayed in the db Seabank Hotel at the bottom of the hill and walked the route which took about 25 minutes but you can also take any bus up the hill a few stops to get there.

There is a great view across this side of the island and the bay and the church itself is quite magnificent and has some amazing pictures and artifacts. Definitely worth a visit!

We visit regularly and walk into the square from the church around. I am not religous but can appreciate the significance of its history and what it represents to the people and community.
It is a place of beauty, meaning and history of a great town. Religous or not take it's great architectures and atmosphere of the environment in Mellieha Malta.
