I really enjoyed my night with Gaulthier, Carmello and the group. Living in a cloudy country, I seldom look at the stars much. But with a clear Canarian sky full of stars to see, it was a beautiful night. They have great gear, astronomical skills, and language skills, and even a beautiful location in the mountains to watch the sun go down. We saw planets, nebulae and galaxies like I've never seen before. Highly recommended!

Gauthier and his team are very professional but also friendly and very well informed.
Although it is a nighttime activity it is suited for all ages and background.
The trip is very well planned (as it is always dependent on the weather) and well equipped (multiple telescopes and lenses, but also warm clothing and different gear for the participants).
The experience was both fun and scientific, was filled with small perks ( no extra costs, however we will not ruin the surprise for future participants).
Highly recommended as it completes the Gran Canaria experience.

What a lovely and different trip out whilst on holiday. We were a mixed group, some people were knowledgeable and some complete ametures but it didn't matter. The tour was well organised and informative but mostly just interactive. It was real value for money and nice to do something unique. You get to see some awesome sights on the drive up the mountain too. There were no hidden costs, we stopped for a drink which was included in the price and you get refreshments throughout the night. They thought of everything from extra jackets to mozzie spray. There were some gifts for sale at the end bit no hard sale, just there if you were interested. I was initally worried it might be a long night but it went quickly and the timings seemed just right. Thanks guys for a great memory.

An amazing evening of stargazing up in the mountains of Grand Canaria. Very knowledgeable guide, who made the experience very interactive. Large telescopes for us to use to find the different stars and planets. We were given tuition and help all the way through the evening. Max of 8 on any one trip and a comfortable mini bus to carry you to the viewing points.
Be aware very windy roads which may not suit you if you suffer with motion sickness.
Thoroughly recommended .

Gauthier and his team are friendly, knowledgeable and fun. You are driven about thirty mins from Maspolomas to a small restaurant for a drink and a bathroom visit, then another 15 to the top of the mountains to see the view and watch the sun set. Gauthier provides a briefing on star gazing (highly professional) using a projector and screen in the back of his van which is brief, interesting and funny, then to star gazing. And there's a quiz at the end. We leant a lot, found it really interesting and had a great time. Gauthier is a born teacher and enthusiast. The kids loved it. You won't regret this memorable evening.
