Wonderful festival, which takes place every 4 years. Perfectly arranged, detailed costumes and events, takes you back 500+ years! Difficult to book tickets though, but you have the chance to visit the "Zehrplatz" and the sunday parade without reservations!

A step back into the medieval ages to celebrate a wedding in 1475. Lots of people in costumes of the day, knights, knaves, a king, music, jousting, and processions. LOTS of food and drinks available. A great time for adults and children alike.

Such an amazing event! The parade is wonderful with everyone in period costumes. After the parade we sat at picnic tables and enjoyed giant pretzels and giant beers, then walked around to view the actors recreating daily life in the Middle Ages
