We were originally booked in to "Eden Village" (just up the road) but on our arrival we were told that we had been placed at Condominio Da Praia. I have to say that I am really glad that we were moved here.
The apartments are safely located behind security gates, so there were no people milling around that shouldn't be there. The apartments seemed to be owned by mostly Portugese (judging by the accents of the people at the pool side). The apartment was large, had 2 bedrooms, bathroom, large kitchen, another loo, and a large lounge. The kicthen was well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, gas hob, oven, table, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer, plus well stocked with crockery and cuttlery etc. Overall a lovely apartment.
The general appearance was a well kept place. The gardens were continally tended during our stay. The maid visited twice during our 8 day stay.
The pool side was never crowded, and we always got loungers and sun shades every day (and this was during peak season in August).
The apartment is about a 20 minute walk from the Marina (through a purpose build parkland in the middle of a dual carriage way (sounds awful but it was actually quite a pleasant walk back from the Marina in the evenings)). For those not wanting to walk back from the Marina it cost us (family of 5) 5.8 Euros to get us all back from there.
I would probably go so far as to say that this is the best apartment that we have stayed in.
