Stopped here for one night organised by bike tour company. The check in experience was lovely; the host took us up to our room and clearly explained the area. There was a fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and only a small fan so the room was hot. It would’ve been nice to have some cold water in the fridge for this reason. Some staff were very helpful and polite, others were less so - when we asked for cold water the waiter was quite rude and took our bottles and filled them in front of us from the tap.
Breakfast was fine - cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, bread, cold meats and cheese. However very limited selection for vegetarians and vegans.
The other guests were from an older demographic, we in our 30s were by far the youngest there.
The hotel is in a beautiful location however very remote. It’s a 15 minute cycle to the nearest town (Zierikzee) which was well worth a visit.
Lunch and dinner menu looked lovely but expensive and again very few options for vegetarians. More
