it has been our second time to celebrate my birthday with family here due to very lovely food. But, this year has been a let down. We made reservation on the day when the restaurant opened at 12noon since its my birthday we were told to bring my passport for free dinner as part of there offer, when we were ready pay the lady who took our bill seems not very happy she claimed it should have been arrange earlier when we rang (where do they think we have the information that i bring my passport). This used to be a friendly and accomodating place, communication is a must to the one who makes reservations and the staff. Plus most of the time during the meal we were brought loads of wrong food we didn't order & food that we order did not come at all when we asked the waiter he has not got a clue, he claimed he doesn't know about the chef should he ask at least and let us know. Reviewing you before have always been 5 star but then again friendliness and accomodating to customers have gone. Poor communication amongst staff.

everytime we come to oosterhout to be with the family, the highlight would always be dining at this restaurant. 5 choices for 5 rounds = 1 happy tummy!! everything tastes fresh and sweet, how sushi should be. i like the paper booking system better where you tick your choices and hand it to the waiter. the new system is a tablet pad - which is a bit hit and miss, we did not get a few choices on our order yet on the tablet it was there. they have to have a better system in place. phone bookings are a must and if you dine on your birthday (minimum of 4 must dine at the time), you get the meal for free! just bring a valid photo id (license or passport) and mention it at the time of booking.

Very good food. Good value for money. An 'all you can eat' concept. During weekdays cheaper than in the weekends. From Friday - Sunday they have 2 dinner sessions. 1st from 17.00 until 19.45 and 2nd from 20.00 until 22.30. All other days you can come at any time you want. Don't forget to make a reservations because this restaurant is completely full almost every day.
Me and my husband go there about every 3 weeks :)

This is a Sushi restaurant with the all you can eat principle.
Be sure to make a reservation on any day of the week or you will probably not have a table. It is very good.

Went here with a business collegue. The selection of all type of flavours and type of dishess was extensive. More than 100 all together.

They have a bit extraordinary ordering system via tab on the table. Basically you create your own meal by adding/selecting different peaces.
The problem is not the system but only that if you are not Dutch, the English explanation is hard to understand...

Anyway, once we understood the ordering system the rest was pure joy.
Nigiri,maki,sashimi...they all were soft and juicy and really fresh. My favourite was marinated Philadelphia maki.

For sure I go to this one next time I will be in the area.
