There are a lot of horse ranches on Terschelling, but this is the only one who made the step to modern corporate identity and internet booking of rooms, rides and covered wagon drives. Everything is optimized to touristic mass processing to increase the profit.
On the other hand it looses a lot of naturalness what we were looking for living on a ranch and riding horses. Too many tourists, poor horses and too young instructors, replacing experienced (more cost-intensive) instructors by walkie talkies with head sets, which have to be worn while riding. We felt like in the office.
Terschelling is nice. But there are a lot of naturally charming ranches, too.
