We arrived late at night to find Stefano waiting at the gate for us. The following morning he arrived with a huge basket of different breads and in the evening with a selection of meats and olives that he had acquired specially for us (this was all on the house, as we had only rented the villa, not paid for food). He gave us advice on where to go and was generally a great host.

The villa itself was in an amazing location. Beautiful views, a large balcony outside the main bedroom that looked out over the bay. It was very clean and had lots of kitchen equipment. The living room is really only part of the kitchen, but there is lots of space outside undercover, so this would only be a problem if you wanted to spend lots of time inside in a living room. A great aspect of the villa was how close it was to shops, lovely restaurants and local buses. There were also fantastic walks nearby, so you get away without using a car for days on end. There is private parking for the car and everything is secure.

For children there is table tennis with bats and balls provided and space to run around.

All in all this was a wonderful find and we can not thank Stefano enough for his hospitality.
