Bought entry to the bodega as part of the ticket for the hop on hop off bus and glad we did. The tour was informative and made even more interesting by Melanie our Dutch guide who was enthusiastic and an asset to the Tio Pepe team. The wine tasting at the end was welcome after the walking around.

Really enjoyed this visit to Bodegas Tío PEPE. Our quide was really helpful & as you would expect very knowledgeable, he quided us around the Bodegas, beginning with a short film, & fun train route to each part of the Bodegas. We finished with the wine tasting, we only arranged for two tastes, but the quide did explain which all of the wines were, one negative is that it would have nice to choose which wine you tasted, rather than just given two, other than that really great.

Went on this tour as sherry is so big in Spain but I dont even drink alcohol and my hubby doesnt drink sherry but we still enjoyed it. They take you on a.little train thru the grounds and explain very thoroughly the wine making process. We only came to Jerez to see the horse show and had some time to spare so decided to do this and glad we did.

This is probably the biggest and most popular of the sherry bodegas. We had booked our visit in advance which meant that we were able to choose a time when we could have a tour with an English speaking guide. Our guide was very good, and she knew her stuff. The visit started with a video presentation on both the history of the brand and an explanation of the sherry making process. We found it very informative and well produced. We were then taken to various parts of the bodega via a "road train". The bodega covers a significant area, and is very attractive. There are various options when it comes to tasting. We paid a little extra and sampled 4 different sherries, accompanied by a small plate of tapas. The tapas was not much to write home about but the quantity of sherry we were given was ample. At the end of the tour there is a shop available selling both sherries and brandies as well as various "promotional" items. As far as the sherries are concerned prices appeared to be a bit higher than those in local supermarkets.

Overall we enjoyed our visit.

The tour was interesting but the tasting a bit disappointing. Only 2 types of wine to taste and no information during the tasting. The group size was large
