“Best food in Bromsgrove”
Review of Sixty Degrees

Sixty Degrees
Description: Sixty Degrees is a small independent business which is not just a coffee shop, tea room, bakehouse or internet cafe.... it's all of that and more... What we do: - make our food orders from scratch using fresh ingredients - Bake our own cakes in our own kitchen - Use free range eggs and take the time to cook them properly - Source our ingredients from local suppliers - Make cakes to order - Host private parties with three course meals What we don't do: - Buy in frozen cakes - Buy in ready made food - Use common table salt in any of the food or cakes we make Because we make our own food and bake our own cakes, we have the freedom to choose the ingredients we use. This means that we can cater for many different dietary requirements... - we have gluten free food options and cakes - we often bake dairy free cakes, vegan cakes, organic cakes and no/low sugar cakes. A vital ingredient... We only use pure natural Himalayan salt in the food or cakes we make.

I come here for lunch quite often and they serve the best lunch in Bromsgrove if you are after quality. Food is fresh and made to order, so have to wait for little but so worth waiting. Menu is very original and offers what other places don't. Also it s the only place in Bromsgrove that bakes their own cakes, and there is always something new in cake menu. Highly recommended and wil be using more often.

Had afternoon tea here recently with my daughter and partner.
The place has a nice vibe to it and is nicely decorated, staff were pleasant and helpful.

Afternoon tea at £13 per head consists of 6 sandwich quarters ours were cheese & cucumber, ham & tomato and tuna mayonnaise not the most adventurous fillings but very nice, we each had 2 scones 1 of each plain and fruit, with clotted cream and jam and three mini cakes ours included a brownie, flapjack and a raspberry cheese cake and as much tea as we wanted. I though on the whole it was good value for money, we weren’t rushed and had a pleasant hour and half chatting and listening to the background music which was very mellow.

This was our first visit and thought we would pop in for coffee before we continued our shopping in the high street. We ordered two Americanos and sorry to say it was the worst coffee either of us had tasted. However the small gluten free brownie was very nice.

Gluten Free cup cakes to order for Birthday Treat. Really moist and nicely decorated. Very nice indeed. I certainly recommend. Thanks

Met up with friends here one morning. The place was empty and there was no background music providing any atmosphere. That said it would change if you went later in the day and more people were present. My real disappointment was the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and it looked like it had been thrown together and had a couple of blobs of congealed chocolate powder thrown on top served on a saucer filled with over spilt coffee. I wouldn’t have had the balls to serve it myself on such a quiet day.
The price of the coffee is also more expensive than costa and lower quality. I definitely wouldn’t recommend visiting.
