Stayed at Dunblane Hydro on bed and breakfast for one night. Pleased to be told on arrival that we had a room upgrade. Had a lovely big room at the front with beautiful views towards the hills. The bathroom had a shower and a jacuzzi bath! Pure luxury!
Had dinner in Dunblane so can't comment on hotel dinner but breakfast was excellent. Wide choice of continental/full Scottish- also gluten free - buffet.
Only problem was the parking. There was an event on at night and the parking spaces couldn't cope with the amount of cars. We eventually parked on double yellow lines and worried about that all night as a leaflet told us there was a chance of being clamped!!! Eventually my husband had a word with reception who apologised and told us not to worry.
Overall a great hotel and would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Food was excellent at dinner. Breakfast was a feast with a great variety of items to choose either hot or cold. Everything was replenished in a timely manner. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. All in all It is worth a visit.

Really nice hotel, in a great position on top of a hill giving it lovely views, staff were excellent, highly recommend the food and very reasonably priced! I had treatments to and the therapist was great, only let down was the pool facilities, I thought it would be more like a spa and it isn't, but i don't think it claims to be. Would recommend.

We had high expectations when we booked this hotel for 1 night to celebrate our wedding anniversary as family and friends had praised it highly. We were able to check in online and viewed the room we were being offered and accepted it, Room 301. (Admittedly the online viewing system for each room is not that clear.) However we were sure that whatever room we were given would be great. Hotel is in beautiful surroundings with spa facilities and ample parking. We were given lovely warm chocolate cookies on arrival at reception. On entering our room - such a let down - we couldn't see anything out of our windows (frosted glass). View "non existent" but room was very spacious. We asked to move to another room "with a view", but none available. Receptionist phoned later and she tried her utmost to get us another room and couldn't apologise enough. We were offered a smaller room "with a view", but it was tiny, so declined it. We were given 2 drinks vouchers for inconvenience caused. I would also like to point out that Room 301 could do with being refreshed as some items in the room were not up to the standard I would expect (photos attached). Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was a wedding reception being held on the 1st floor and we could hear the music in our room at midnight! We were there on a DBB package so on the positive side, the Restaurant's food was amazing in a lovely ambient setting and couldn't fault the service. Reception/Bar/Foyer area were also very pleasant and comfortable ... so all in all it was just our room that let us down on this occasion. We may consder booking here again but next time we will phone ahead to ensure that we get a room with a view!

Room Tip: Not 301 or 208 if you are a couple. If you would like a vew please ask Reception in advance for this as it is not guaranteed.

We have been coming to this lovely hotel every Easter & October for the last few years and always have a fantastic break.
Sadly, we had to cut this years trip short after only 1 night due to our 5 year old breaking her collar bone when out a walk.
The staff were amazing and very understanding. Not only did they only charge us 1 night when we checked out at 6pm on day 2, they gave us cookies for the journey home, to cheer us all up. Too many hotels these days would easily have charged us for the remaining nights.
Thanks so much for the exceptional way you dealt with this very unfortunate situation.
We cant wait to come back in a few weeks, when the little one is better.
