Went to see Jurassic, Fallen World 3D. Cinema was nearly empty which was lovely. VIP seats are ok but sadly not as nice as the VUE. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good range on sweets and popcorn, drinks etc. Free parking also.

We went as a family to the Odeon to see Avengers infinity wars in 3D in Screen 2, mainly as it was sold out in all the good cinemas. Thought it would be fine but the queues for food/tickets and dirty floor were not great. Then the actual screen was blurred in the top part of the screen not 3D related. Reported it to staff but they didn't seem to know what to do, but not a great viewing experience. Safe to say kids and I decided it really was not worth bothering with. As regular cinema goers Showcase cinema de lux and cineworld are much better.

Seems a bit dated now, but the cinemas are good and there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. Not too expensive either.

We wouldn't consider going elsewhere as tickets are excellent value: £5 - £6.50 depending on film. Tickets have to be bought either from the machine or at the snacks counter (the actual box office is never manned) but the queue is never excessively long.

My partner and I were excited to see Black Panther upon its release date. We didn't anticipate a queue as we selected mid-evening time however, continued to wait. By the time we were served, it was 21:00 and therefore asked if the movie had already started as the movie time (including adverts) was for 20:45. The young chap who served us said "Nah, start in 5 minutes" so we continued with our purchase. We then opened the doors to the cinema to see the film had already started! We immediately requested a refund. The lady who was required to complete our refund argued that it had probably only just started. We replied that the colleague had told us it hadn't yet started.

Rule number one of customer service - If you're not sure, don't answer the question! We would have been OK if the colleague had gone to check and then let us know it had already started and apologised but he didn't even bother.
