“Bracknell Odeon cheapest cinema around”
Review of Odeon Cinema

This is an update to my last review in 2016. We are regular cinema goers having the Odeon Limitless card (only £17.99 a month with a few excpetions) which allows us to see as many films as we like for one monthly payment (it does not cover the special screenings however but you can get to see films before general release periodically as a member) . We love Odeon Bracknell. Loads of Parking right by it free from 8pm.

Last week we watched Ocean's 8, had to go to Guidlford this week for The Happy Prince, we will be at Bracknell again this weekend and on Monday.

If you know a film is going to be popular at the weekend then book ahead, either on line (but pay a booking fee) or pop in to the Odeon and buy your tickets a few days before. It doesn't always show fimls it advertises in trailers which is a shame as it means we have to go much further afield to Guildford most often even for 5 star rated films from national press newspapers, but overall the choice of fimls is good and we always get in.

Weekday screenings are usually quiet so you are guaranteeed a good seat. Kids club is busier during school holidays and weekends as the tickets are so cheap (same price for adults and kids £2.50 each).

Most films are only £5 while blockbusters are usually around £6. Live screenings of concerts, ballet and theatre performances cost more, but much less than if you had to travel to eg. London to see them and you get a much closer view. Excellent value for money.

We don't understand why more people don't come to Bracknell Odeon. It is brilliant. We've got 2 films to see this weekend and next week. Odeon Bracknell is an excellent cheap night out if you just buy your tickets and go in. More if you go for the refreshments of course!!

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Forget the outside of the building mentioned in pther reviews by people, its the foyer and the screens that count both of which can;t be complained about.

Went to see Jurassic, Fallen World 3D. Cinema was nearly empty which was lovely. VIP seats are ok but sadly not as nice as the VUE. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good range on sweets and popcorn, drinks etc. Free parking also.

We went as a family to the Odeon to see Avengers infinity wars in 3D in Screen 2, mainly as it was sold out in all the good cinemas. Thought it would be fine but the queues for food/tickets and dirty floor were not great. Then the actual screen was blurred in the top part of the screen not 3D related. Reported it to staff but they didn't seem to know what to do, but not a great viewing experience. Safe to say kids and I decided it really was not worth bothering with. As regular cinema goers Showcase cinema de lux and cineworld are much better.

Seems a bit dated now, but the cinemas are good and there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. Not too expensive either.

We wouldn't consider going elsewhere as tickets are excellent value: £5 - £6.50 depending on film. Tickets have to be bought either from the machine or at the snacks counter (the actual box office is never manned) but the queue is never excessively long.
