The resort was well run and staff were very helpful. Plenty of activities provided and we wish we had stayed longer. Rooms were good value and could have easily spent upto a week in one of the rooms. Thanks !

Love love, love this place. I highly recommend you pay this place a visit. This is the first time of have been to Tangalooma and I will definitely be back. You can relax by the pool go snorkeling at the wrecks, go fishing or do the many activities that are available. The staff were all friendly and helpful and I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed in a Hotel Deluxe room for 3 nights an really enjoyed ourselves. The dolphin feeding was a new experience for us. The food at Fire & Stone restaurant was excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable long weekend.

THE GOOD

Staff:
Incredibly friendly in all venues, on all tours and always willing to assist and answer any questions

Room (Deluxe Ocean View):
The room was exactly as advertised but actually more spacious than anticipated and when the balcony doors are closed it is soundproof to the outside which is great if you aren't an early riser. Bed incredibly comfortable, all areas of room clean and balcony is awesome to take in the afternoon sunsets

Tours:
Snorkel the Wrecks - great option if you have not snorkelled before or would prefer a wetsuit as it is included in the price. If you are a confident swimmer and don't get too affected by cold water you can do this yourself to save some $$.

Parasailing - First time doing this and it was a great experience. It can look costly up front but considering there is a 15-20 minute round trip by boat out to the flight area and 6-8 minutes in the air taking in the views of Moreton Bay it was reasonable. Highly recommended experience.

Whale Watching Cruise - I could not fault this whole experience. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly for the duration of the cruise whether it was facts about whales or Moreton Island. A small lunch was tasty and just enough. We saw 12 whales on the day we went out but this ranged from 7-15 sightings per departure the last few weeks leading up to our date.

Sunset Fish Feeding Cruise - The weather was not amazing so it is hard to review this but the general experience was enjoyable. We managed to see 3 sea turtles but missed out on the resident dugong. The "glass bottom" viewing areas were really interesting seeing the sealife without needing to dive down yourself.

ATV Quad Bike - I purposely left this until the end as the experience was incredible. My partner rated it as the best experience in his travel history (not just this trip) and it was definitely in the top 5 of all time for me. The staff are helpful and friendly and I have contacted the resort directly to give a shout out to Amy who went above and beyond on our 2nd ride (yep, it's really that good) to really make the experience.

THE NOT SO GOOD:
The Beach Cafe - If we hadn't have stayed 6 nights and tried multiple items on the menu I wouldn't have bothered with this however the meals ranged from average to inedible unfortunately. I would recommend sticking to the basics and avoiding the pizzas.

BE AWARE:
Pack as much food and drink as possible! Understandably the pricing at the shop is astronomical.

Great family vacation although I’d wait until your youngest member is at least 10 and a good swimmer to participate in everything. The Deep Blue apartments were a fantastic location and really comfortable. The big decks and outdoor kitchen on them were the best for families. Make sure you pack your meat to bring over as it’s a very limited shop.
