We had a delicious lunch here. The food was made to order and tasted wonderful. The cake was to die for. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The decor is really lovely.
Next time we are in Seaburn we will definitely be eating here again.

Went for afternoon tea as a Mothers Day, treat we were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our table and promptly brought us a glass of Proseco then sandwiches, scones( which were enormous) and lovely cakes. There's a lovely at atmosphere in the place and we did enjoy our afternoon so much so i took my husband there for his birthday and had a lovely meal and my husband was well impressed. This place is now top of the list when we go for a walk along the coast.

Our first visit to this venue was for Sunday lunch 25th March 2018. Our lunch had two temperatures. The meat yorkshire pudding potatoes were only warm. The vegetables which were served separately were piping hot. We didn't return our food as it was very busy, however when the waitress came to take our plates we did tell her that we weren't really happy with the temperature of the food. She apologised and said she would inform the chef. We didn't hear anything after that. I think a small recompense would have been in order. We was also very surprised at the toilet facilities. One toilet for both male and female use and no facility at all for wheelchair users. Don't think we would return for Sunday lunch.

The Salt House Kitchen was booked on 18th March 2018 as the venue for my baby shower and I can definitely say it did not disappoint.
Initially I worried about the capacity to hold this party of 30 however I didn't need to worry at all as there was more than enough room for everyone to be able to relax and enjoy themselves. The venue was still open to the public however as we were booked for the last sitting of the day it had quietened down slightly.
I can not reiterate the excellent customer service we all received and how welcoming and accommodating every member of staff was.
Firstly the food - most of the party had pre-ordered sandwiches and paninis, all of which were amazing and thoroughly filling. A few of the party ordered a portion of chips as a side, which were to die for. The sandwiches were that filling that some of the party even took half of it home. Most people then had cake, and all said it was one of the best they'd had.
As it was a baby shower, we played quite a few games and the staff were welcoming of this. The atmosphere was great and the staff never left glasses/plates to build up.
I can't thank the staff enough, they even helped carry some of my presents to the car.
Everyone had such a great afternoon and we will definitely be back.
Thank you again :)
