We spent a week at this lodge. It was large and beautifully furnished/decorated. There was a lovely welcome basket of supplies and thoughtful little extras like bath soak and tissues were supplied.
The lodge has large rooms with plenty of space and big cupboards for storage in the bedrooms - we used ours as a 'drying room' for towels. There are plenty of comfy sofas in the living room, a large TV with DVD player and a small selection of DVDs and books for all the family. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of cupboard space and the basics like tea, coffee, sugar and salt supplied. The star was without doubt the outdoor hot tub which was clean and well maintained and extra towels were supplied.
My only negative comment would be that the lodge is very close to the busy A166 and traffic noise in the morning and evening ruined the otherwise peaceful farm setting.
My mobile signal was also very poor in and around the lodge (Vodafone).
This is a great place from which to explore the surrounding but you will have to drive into Stamford Bridge(couple of miles away) if you need shopping, bank(cash machine in COOP), takeaway food or a pub. I would recommend this accommodation if you want a peaceful location with few people around you.
