Had a great two days at the cottage with lots of great walks from the door. Small private back garden just right for a glass of wine when the sun was shining. 2 very local pubs (both within 5 minute walk) but no shop so although the makings for a brew were provided you need to make sure you remember your toothbrush etc - will hopefully revisit in the not too distant future.

“A cozy cottage in the heart of the Peak District”
Reviewed 21 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Cobblers Cottage was a fantastic base from which to explore the surrounding area. The cottage was clean and cosy and the Owners had thought of everything needed to make our stay comfortable.

“Lovely Break”
Reviewed 17 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The Cobbler's Cottage is well designed and appointed to accomodate a family that wants to enjoy a relaxing break and take some enjoyable walks into the Peaks. The surrounding area is beautiful, full of great walks such as Rowtor Rocks and Doll Tor, Stanton Moor and the Nine Ladies stone circle. The cottage was pretty and bijou with a lovely woodburner stove for the evenings and a well appointed stylish kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and relaxing. The shower room was great and there is an ensuite in the twin room. Everything was clean and tidy and we all give the cottage 5*!
