What a wonderful find. I was taken away for a surprise birthday weekend and had the most marvellous stay at Clifftop Cottage. From the moment we stepped into the warm, immaculate, beautifully furnished cottage and looked through the windows to the cliffs and ocean, I knew we were in a special place. My favourite flowers, oriental lilies perfumed the home and there was a chilled bottle of wine. The log fire added to the charm and the spa bath with superb jet system was great after walking along the stunning cliff top track. We had a good meal at the Kilcunda Pub but next time I shall enjoy the wonderfully equipped kitchen. Clifftop Cottage is the perfect place for both a winter or summer getaway and it is close to Melbourne.

We recently had a three night stay at the Clifftop Cottage located on the Kilcunda Bluff. Wow! What a lucky find. The weekend we stayed the weather was not that great, but the well appointed cottage was so cosy and private with the wood fire blazing and everything we needed in the cottage, it hardly mattered. The beautiful surrounds eventually tempted us outdoors and we were not disappointed. The cottage is positioned on the cliffs of the George Bass Walk with Ocean views to die for. You lookout to the beautiful Cape Woolamai to the west and Cape Patterson to the east, absolutely breathtaking. Virginia and Tony (the owners) were lovely hosts and were very knowledgeable about the local area and directed us to some lovely eating places during our stay.
We will definitely be back and look forward to returning in the warmer months where we can make the most of the private little beaches nearby and swim in the beautiful rock pools.
