“Can Llouquette is a wonderful location run by wonderful people”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

I have travelled a lot during the last 20 years and have seen many places all all over the world - South America, Europe, Asia, Australia,..... Can Llouquette is one of the best I have ever been to. It is heart-warming, relaxing and close to nature. Our children were cordially welcome an very happy on the estate and in the pool. However we can imagine them to broaden their radius in future and take the advantages of the surrounding like hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, .....
Additionally I can also imagine to stay there for a couple of weeks alone with lots of books and drawing equipment - reading, relaxing, enjoying culture as well as nature of this beautiful region.

“A relaxing rural paradise”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

L'Atelier is a beautiful apartment with a private terrace, well equipped kitchen and stunning living area/bedrooms. Can Llouquette was paradise for us - so peaceful and idyllic with a stream and small waterfall, lovely gardens, swimming pool, and chickens, donkeys and sheep! The hosts Ashley and Simon (and Sophia!) were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, but also left us to wander and explore in our own time. We visited the lovely nearby towns of Prats de Mollo and Coustouges for shopping, lunch and sightseeing and didn't come across another tourist....also Tapis for lunch was a real treat! Can't recommend this place highly enough - we intend to go back whenever we need to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

“Tranquility and butterflies up high in the Pyrenees”

Can Llouquette is such a beautiful & restful place to spend a holiday. Simon & Ashley are very welcoming, the location is stunning and if you ever get bored of lying beside the immaculate pool watching the myriad butterflies (which I didn't) there are lots of things to do in the surrounding area. L'Atelier is very spacious - we were a family of 4 - and well-equipped with a huge kitchen/living area and 2 en suite shower rooms. The mountain location means that it's cool during the night and early morning. A week wasn't long enough to properly explore the grounds, which include a long riverside walk and plunge pools, as well as hammocks. It is rare on holiday that I feel I could stay longer but this was one of those rare times.

“Beautiful, peaceful, clean, butterflies, friendly”

Our young family (4 & 6) recently spent one week at L’Atelier and we had a wonderful time.
Simon and Ashley are both well travelled and have worked hard to create an environment that is really lovely to stay at. This ranges from the smallest details within each property to the relaxed but thoughtful way they treat you during your stay. The properties all benefit from the pool and garden but residents can also wander around the rest of the grounds which are left fairly wild to attract an enormous number of butterflies.
The people in the nearby villages and towns were the friendliest French people that I have come across.
We followed our stay with a week at the beach which was a good balance for our family but our second property just could not meet the high standards set at Can Llouquette.

“The perfect place to get away from it all and indulge yourself”

I recently spent a most amazing, relaxing two weeks in L'Atelier. from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Simon, Ashley and the charming Sophia. Our hosts were super helpful with local knowledge and made us fell at home from the beginning of our stay.

L'Atelier itself is a very cleverly constructed building with an open living area /dining room and two double rooms either side of this. The kitchen has absolutely everything you'll ever need. I got a little bit too excited when I spotted the espresso machine, the perfect gadget for long, lazy breakfasts.

I couldnt recommend L'Atelier enough for couples, families with children or friends. I left the place completely relaxed and rested. Its the perfect place to step away from modern life without having to venture too far from civilisation.
