“February Half Term Break”

Pretty cottage, nice location, helpful owner. Our 5 night break was spoilt by the breakdown of hot water and central heating system for 4days, and we were unable to contact the owner for 24 hours prior to our departure

“Great location for a relaxing weekend away”
Reviewed 21 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Lovely holiday cottage set in a very cute little village. The owners of the cottage are very friendly and helpful, keen to make sure that our stay was perfect (and they succeeded). The village itself is a lovely surprise: I didn't know anything about it, but it turns out to have a very nice, old centre with a couple of nice places to eat & drink. But the show was totally stolen by the owners' dogs, who were unashamedly begging for attention whenever we poked a nose out of the cottage ;-)

Newly converted cottage , very warm & cosy feel . Location is lovely for a relaxing break . two thumbs up !
On a down side sadly it only has single beds , which i think needs changing . All married couples like to share a bed , but your not given the option , also some less than great building work has been conducted and as a joiner i couldnt help but notice . Would benifit from some new windows & front door really quickly :( , Sorry but was slighty dissapionted

out of 10 , it gets a 8 from us . Family of 4 from Sheffield

“Cosy, comfortable & thoughtfully equipped cottage”
Reviewed 11 December 2012 for a stay in December 2012

Bottesford Cottage has been lovingly restored and provides great value accommodation (two adults & four kids in our case). Dermot and Anne have put a lot of thought into their renovation and have equipped the cottage really well. We were very impressed with the 'information pack'. The cottage is within easy walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants (Paul's is recommended). A lovely place to stay within easy driving distance of local cities and attractions.
